Rickey Holland Obituary

Rickey Don Holland, 64, a resident of Wynne, formerly of the Russellville Area, passed away, Wednesday, September 8, 2021.  He was born, November 21, 1956, in Helena, the son of Parmer Coolidge and Hazel Aline Lee Holland.

Rickey served a short stint in the Army before working in the construction and plumbing industry.  He grew up in and around the Russellville/Dover area for many years before moving to Helena to be close to his daughter.  He was a great father and always there for Stephanie, caring for her and her dogs, helping with the yard and kids. He was a laid back kind of guy, who would roll with the punches. Rickey enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Dennis Ray Holland.

Survivors include his only daughter; Stephanie Holland and husband Andy Rogers of Helena, brother: Parmer Lee Holland of Russellville, sister: Deborah Cooper of Russellville, six grandchildren: Shelby Rogers, Emily Evans, Evan Rogers, Ethan Rogers, Andrea Rogers, Haleigh Rogers, Nephews: Dillon Cooper of Russellville and Blake Holland of Helena.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Rickey.
