Robert Steven May, 58, a resident of Moro, AR, departed this life, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at The Springs of Brinkley Health & Rehabilitation. He was born, March 20, 1966, in Little Rock, AR, the son of Albert King and Gladys Marie Knight May.
Robert was a member of the Harvest Land Church in Moro, where he enjoyed hearing the word of God and making everyone in his presence laugh. He enjoyed fishing, frog gigging, deer hunting, but his favorite was coon hunting. He also enjoyed playing baseball which, he leaves this special memory with his son, Michael. Robert was good at many things and was considered a Jack-of-all-trades with the many skills he had learned over the years, even teaching his beloved Sandy how to drive a stick shift.
He was preceded in death by his parents: A.K. May and Gladys May, nine brothers: Lloyd, Floyd, James, Jerry, Tom, Danny, A.K., Jr., Jimmy and Larry May and three sisters: Shirley May, Polly Thompson, and Ernestine Self.
Survivors include: One son; Michael Dotson and wife LaMondia of Laurel, Mississippi, His Spouse; Sandy May-Griffin; Two grandchildren: Jasmine Dotson and Brandon Dotson of Laurel, Mississippi and a host of family and friends.
No services will be held for Robert in accordance with his wishes.
