Robert Nate Sullivan, 59, a resident of Cherry Valley, departed this life, Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born, March 26, 1965, in Wynne, the son of Gene Thomas and Gwendolyn Annette Smith Sullivan.
Robert was a graduate of Wynne High School and worked on the tug boats in Memphis for a while and then as a farm hand for the Andy Boone Farms. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles, and caring for his dogs. He was a laid-back easy-going man with a sarcastic sense of humor, who loved hanging out with his friends and attending his grandson’s sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his father: Gene Sullivan, mother: Gwendolyn Fendley, and one sister: Billy Jo Russell.
Survivors include one son: Daniel Sullivan of Marion, two daughters: Grace Harper and her husband Seth of Wynne, Robyn Sullivan of Jonesboro, a bonus daughter: Miranda Ponder of Jonesboro, one sister: Veronica Thomas of Wynne, three grandchildren: Casom King, Jack Harper and Charlotte Schaaphok, his two dogs: Maple and Jake.
The family will hold a memorial service, Saturday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cherry Valley Baptist Church.
