Robert Edward Waldo, a resident of Colt, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born in West Memphis, Arkansas, on August 22, 1975, the son of Robert Dale and Mildred Clements Waldo.
Robert was a 1993 graduate of Cross County High School and married Miss Anita McElroy on March 18, 1995. Robert worked in factories most of his life, most recently at Boar’s Head. He enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, singing, fishing, duck hunting the Dallas Cowboys and the Razorbacks. He considered himself a “grill master” and told the best jokes. Robert sent scriptures and devotionals to his friends and family daily. He was all about family and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved singing with the Worship team at the Forrest City Church of God and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother; Robert Dean Waldo.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-six years; Anita Waldo of the home, mother; Mildred Waldo of Cherry Valley, Maternal Grandmother: Jewell Clements of Vanndale, one sister; April Love and husband Adam of Cherry Valley, his dog; Dallas, nieces and nephews; Cade Morris, Emery Love, Christopher (Ashley) McElroy, Justin (Alli) McElroy and Baylee McElroy and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, from 6 till 8:00 p.m. at the Forrest City Church of God.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the church with burial following in Vanndale Cemetery.
