Roger Dale Mitchusson

Roger Dale Mitchusson, 68, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Forrest City Medical Center. He was born November 19, 1953, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, the son of the late Elton and Betty Jo Kent Mitchusson.

Mr. Mitchusson was a 1972 graduate of Forrest City High School. He worked at Sanyo for many years in engineering maintenance. He was so much more than he believed himself to be. His influence through his musical talent was immeasurable, although there are a few who credit him with sparking that lifelong love of playing guitar. He was blessed with an incredibly brilliant mind and a curiosity that pushed him to investigate and explore the “what if” mind if you will. He could have easily become one of the greatest scientists of all time, but was content to be a hobbyist of tinkering. He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

He is survived by his one daughter: Samantha Jones and her husband Dane of Rockport, AR, two brothers: Danny Mitchusson of Cherry Valley, AR and Ronnie Mitchusson of Forrest City, AR, one sister: Sandy Puckett of Lonoke, AR, Three Grandchildren: Caleb Jones, Brayden Jones and Emily Jones.

According to his wishes no services will be held.
