Ronald Brown Obituary

Ronald Brown, 73, a resident of Wynne, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, April 29, 2021, at his residence with his family by his side.  He was born, September 21, 1948, in Seymour, Texas the son of  John Erwin "J.E." and Alma Leona Nix Brown.

He married Miss Laqricia “Kay” Tabor, June 22, 1968 and together they had two children. Ronald earned his Master Degree in Education and taught school for many years both in Texas and Arkansas. He was recognized as runner-up for Secondary teacher of the year in Texas. He had a love and passion for teaching education and teaching the Word of God. He shared his passions, in the classroom, the church and to the inmate at the prison in Forrest City.  He was an Elder at Wynne Church of Christ as long as his health allowed. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play, especially when they were winning and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Wayne Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years; Kay Brown of the home, one son; Daniel Brown of the home, one daughter; Jennifer Ringwood and husband Chuck of Grand Prairie, Texas, 2 wonderful granddaughters; Marissa Ringwood and McKenzie Hailey.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 2, at 3:00 p.m., at the Wynne Church of Christ with Fred Strasser and Tim Davis officiating.

Cross County Funeral Service and Crematory had the honor of handling the arrangements for the Brown family.
