Shannon Shontae Lawson

Shannon Shontae Lawson, a resident of Wynne, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the age of 32, with her family by her side. She was born October 10, 1987 in West Helena, the daughter of David Slaughter and Susan Renee Walker Hayes.

Shannon loved her daughter, Alaina so much and cherished spending time with her, her cousins, and family. When she was younger, she enjoyed horseback riding as often as possible. She was a child of God and admired her Uncle Tracy for the man he is.

Ms. Lawson was preceded in death by her father: David Allen Slaughter, and one sister: Emily Lawson.

Shannon is survived by her mother: Renee Hayes of Wynne, Arkansas, one daughter: Alaina Farris of Wynne, AR, one brother: Joe Walker of Wynne, AR, grandmother: Dorothy Slaughter of Haynes, AR, and one nephew: River Seaton of Wynne, AR.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne. Visitation for friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. before services. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery in Moro, Arkansas.   Cross County Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
