Shirley Temple Roberson Hart
Shirley Hart, 87, a resident of Forrest City, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 1, 2020, surrounded by her family in her home. She was born July 7, 1933, in Marianna the daughter of Dillon and Grace Boney Roberson.
Mrs. Hart loved working as a CNA at the nursing home in Brinkley for many years. She loved her family and made many sacrifices for all of them. She enjoyed cooking especially during the holidays and enjoyed getting the family together. Shirley also enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Lloyd Hart, Sr. and Carl Hankins, her parents, four sons; Eddie Hart, Nelson Hart, Robert Hart, and Daniel Hart, 3 daughters; Debra Armstrong, Wanda Green, and Marjorie Hutchins, 6 grandchildren; Tonya Yarbrough, Angela Pate, Billy Pate, Jr., Tammy Hart, Jennifer Hart, and Baby Boy Vick, 2 brothers; Pilcher Roberson and Dillon Roberson, 4 sisters; Margie Roberson, Edna Haux, Wilma Harth, and Ruth Curtis.
Shirley is survived by; 3 sons; Lloyd Hart, Jr. and wife Joyce of Palestine, Gary Hart and wife Jessie of Dewitt, and Joe Hart of Forrest City. 5 daughters; Cathy Mathes of Brinkley, Shirley Ballard and Fiancée Brian of Des Arc, Betty Hart and fiancée Gene of Gill, Michelle Ortiz and husband Raymond of Purdy, Missouri, Tina Hart and husband Billy Pate of Forrest City, 4 sisters; Jimmie Sue Summers, Delores York, Dottie Anderson, and Johnnie Guzman all of Indiana, a host of grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and quite a few great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place on Monday in Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City.
