Stephanie Gail Hess

Stephanie Gail Hess, 49, a resident of Searcy, formerly of Wynne, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday July 20, 2022. Stephanie was born on March 19, 1973 in Wynne the daughter of David Francis and Rita Joyce Weaver Hess.

She was a 1991 graduate of Wynne High School and a 1996 graduate of the Crowley’s Ridge Tech LPN program. She worked as a nurse for many years before moving into retail and volunteer work. Even after she left nursing, she continued to care for sick family members and friends. On October 4th 2008, she gave birth to her only daughter, Natilee Frances Hess. She was highly involved with the Church of Christ in Kensett and volunteered many hours at Habitat for Humanity in Searcy. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, cooking, canning, gardening, and craftsmanship.

Stephanie was preceded in death y her maternal grandmother, Anna Creasey, paternal grandparents; Otto and Natailee Hess, four uncles; Andrew Hess, Billy Dewitt, Jerry Weaver, and Johnny Hess, four aunts; Katherine Hess-Holcomb, Donna Hubach-Dewitt, Kay Hess, and Burma Weaver-Ashburn.

Stephanie is survived by her daughter; Natilee Hess of Wynne, parents; David and Rita Hess of Wynne, one sister; Christie Cole of Wynne, one brother; David Hess and wife Jenni of Wynne, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her special friend; Jerry Wells.

A graveside memorial will be held  Saturday, August 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Cemetery in Wynne.
