Tammy Jo “Baker” Keeler, of Colt, Arkansas passed away, Friday, April 3, 2020, at the age of 61 with her family by her side. She was born on January 26, 1959, in South Beloit, Illinois, to James Weldon Baker and Opal Arlene “Frisbee” Baker.
Tammy was married to Virgil Keeler for 42 years and lead a very full and busy life taking care of her family while working as a location manager for the Forrest City Colony Shop, as well as a list of other jobs including St. Francis County Extension office as a nutritionist, and working for Addison Shoe Company. When Tammy had a little free time, she enjoyed ridding around with Virgil, fishing, camping, and reading. Tammy never met a stranger, she had a “bubbly” personality and was very outgoing. She was a great wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, spoiling her only granddaughter as much as she could. Tammy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Keeler was preceded in death by both of her parents: James & Opal Baker.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 42 years: Virgil Keeler of the home, two sons: Joshua Keeler and wife Patti of Brookland, AR, and Caleb Keeler of Colt, AR, one sister: Teri Baker of Colt, AR, and one granddaughter: Piper Keeler of Brookland, AR.
There will be no services at this time. Cross County Cremations and Funeral Service was honored to help the Keeler Family at this time.
