Terresa Kay Holmes, 67, a resident of McCrory, departed this life, Tuesday, June 19, 2024, in Jonesboro. She was born, May 27, 1957, in Greenfield, Indiana, the daughter of Freddie and Betty Stokes. She married the late Mr. Benny “Gene” Holmes on October 20, 1972.
She worked for Addison Shoe Factory for more than 46 years as a Human Resource officer. She enjoyed shopping for others, traveling, coloring books, and dancing. Terresa never met a stranger and loved giving to others, she cared and helped everyone in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her Mother: Betty Melvin of Fair Oaks, Father: Freddie Stokes of Wynne, two daughters: Brandy Williams and husband John of Vanndale, Alisha Hinchey and partner Patrick Hardy of Fair Oaks, one brother: Terry Stokes of Memphis, one sisters: Tammy Roberts of Altus, eight grandchildren: Tanner Skinner, Jonathan Williams, Ian Williams, Danielle Beard, Kaitlyn Smith, Mackenzie Denton, Jaden Denton and Alexander Hardy, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church.
