Thomas Paul McCammon

Paul McCammon, a resident of Forrest City, departed this life, Sunday, April 4, 2021 at CrossRidge Community Hospital at the age of 74.  He was born August 15, 1946, in Cherry Valley, the son of Arthur and Sarah Coleman McCammon.

He graduated from Cherry Valley High School, before enlisting in the National Guard where he served several years. Paul was a residential carpenter and handyman.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Ruth Armstrong McCammon, one daughter; Tammy McCammon, two brothers; Clarence Brewer and Earnest McCammon, 7 sisters; Ruth Ball, Dorothy Murphy, Sarah Thomas, Earline Bledsoe, Karen Carter Puttman, Reatha Sullivan and Patricia Hill.

Paul is survived by two sons; Patrick McCammon and Thomas McCammon both of Wynne, four brothers; A.T. McCammon of Wynne, Darrell McCammon of Caruthersville, Missouri, Rick McCammon and Danny McCammon both of Wynne, four sisters; Hazel Call of West Plains, Missouri, Linda Grantham of Clinton, Shirley Ball of Colt, Juanita White of Wynne.

Graveside inurnment will be held, Friday, April 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Cross County Funeral Service and Crematory had the honor of handling the arrangements for the McCammon family.
