Thurel Wayne Taylor, 80, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Jonesboro, with his family by his side. He was born, September 4, 1942, in Colt, the son of Forrest and Iva (Kay) Taylor.
Thurel was a graduate of Wynne High School, he worked at various jobs throughout his life and was a St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He enjoyed life just relaxing, riding around in his truck and helping others. He was a good and loving father and was a simple man with a great sense of humor, always making others laugh. Thurel enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Forrest and Iva Taylor, one son: Tony Taylor, one daughter: Kimberly Taylor and one brother: Oneal Taylor.
Thurel is survived by one daughter; Karen Denton of Colt, one sister; Shirley Edwards of Wynne, three grandchildren: John Denton, Amber Watts, Christina Taylor and five great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service will be held, Monday, April 3, at 10:00 a.m., in Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Cross County Funeral Service and Crematory is honored with assisting the Taylor family with services.
