Tommy Wayne Pearson, 85, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born on July 13, 1939, in Forrest City, the son of Bernice Monroe and Betty Louise Griffin Pearson. He married Miss Charlotte Cotton on October 15, 1966.
He was a graduate of Forrest City High School and a member of the Levesque Assembly of God Church. He worked driving a truck for Kimberly Clark for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed rebuilding and restoration of cars. Tommy was a serious man but had a good sense of humor and would give to anyone in need. He was a great husband, father and the best grandfather, who loved his family and friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents: Bernice and Betty Pearson.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years: Charlotte Pearson of Wynne, two sons: Mike Pearson of Wynne, Mark Pearson and Melissa Peeler of Wynne, one daughter: Kim Davis and husband Chris of Wynne, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Following Tommy’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
