Wallace Ray Bobbitt, Jr.
Wallace Ray Bobbitt, Jr., 80, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Saturday, April 25, 2020. He was born on September 12, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee the son of Wallace Bobbitt, Sr. and Maxie (Merrill) Bobbitt.
After high school, Wallace served in the United States Air Force. He worked in the fishing industry, netting catfish, for many years, and then went into construction. He enjoyed building new houses, fishing, and growing flowers, Wallace had a green thumb. He was a good grandfather, attending all his grandson’s games.
Mr. Bobbitt is preceded in death by his parents and one son: Wallace Bobbitt, III.
Wallace is survived by two daughters: Debra Stevens and husband Danny of Colt, Arkansas, Angela Bobbitt of Knoxville, Tennessee, three sisters: Joyce Gill of Memphis, Tennessee, Sue Long of Harrison, Arkansas, and Debra Ginn of Palestine, Texas, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bobbitt's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
