William "Kenny" Browning of Cherry Valley passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the age of 69. He was born on June 10, 1951, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Mr. John Clarence and Bonnie Lenell “Woody” Browning.
William was a 1969 graduate of Cross County High School and later became a car salesman and eventually owned Kenny’s Used Cars in Jonesboroand spent many years working in construction. He enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns in his free time. Another one of his favorite pass times was hanging out with his kids and grandkids and visiting with his mother as often as he could, but talked with her everyday. William attended The Bridge Church when able to. He was a guy that got along with everyone, never meeting a stranger, and will be missed very much.
Mr. Browning was preceded in death by his father and one brother: Wayne Browning, Brother-In-Law; Ralph Porter, and a neice; Hannah Porter
William is survived by his mother; Bonnie Browning of Hot Springs, two sons: Nick Browning and wife Shelly of Paragould, Caleb Browning of Bay, one daughter: Kim Burnett and Jerry Mross of Bay Village, four sisters; Janie (David) Willis of Cherry Valley, Susan (Larry) Lambert of Olive Branch, MS, Debbie Porter of Hot Springs, Betty (Fred) Porter of Rogers, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Wynne. Visitation will be prior to the funeral starting at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow the services in Vanndale Cemetery.
