William Trent Richardson, age 68, a cherished resident of Wynne, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on February 12, 1957, in Wynne to James Arthur and Lyttie Diann Hunter Richardson.
Trent graduated from Wynne High School in 1975 and dedicated his professional life to working as a grain trader at Carwell Rice Mill.
He found joy in tinkering with various things, fishing, collecting rocks and arrowheads, and deer hunting. Trent especially loved sharing his passion for hunting with his grandchildren. Known for his easy-going nature and a hint of stubbornness, he was the best brother anyone could wish for and a loyal friend for life. Trent had many lifelong friends and was always willing to help them and his family in any way he could.
Trent is survived by his wife, Lois Summerville Richardson; his father and stepmother, James and Carolyn of Waverly, Tennessee; his mother, Diann Brumback of Little Rock; two sons, Timothy Ellis of Memphis, Tennessee, and Colton Ellis of Byhalia, Mississippi; one daughter, Karisa Huey of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two brothers, Hunter Richardson and his wife Barbara of Maumelle and Todd Richardson and his wife Sherris of Waverly, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jacob and Jaden Purnell, Maddie, Mylla, and Maverick Ellis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service Saturday, November 1, at 11:00 a.m. at the Richardson Farms in Wynne.
